So I was going to get vodka to soak some peanuts in before throwing them in the secondary and I saw some coconut vodka. Would it work to use coconut flavored vodka to soak it in if I try to make a coconut porter with some strong coconut flavor? I'd still toast some coconut for the secondary but...

Have you made any progress on this? I'm wondering how to sanitize peanuts. I guess I could boil them, just not sure how that would affect flavor. I read the same article from Simply Beer...
When you mean you added the "Lemonaid" at bottling, you mean that you poured the "Lemonaid" mix into the pot with the beer with the fill valve just before bottling? I imagine you stirred it to make sure it was evenly distributed?
