Two kegs in and I'm sold using syrups for variety rocks!

Check out http://sweetzfree.com/ for what is basically liquid Splenda. It sounds expensive at $64 for 4 oz, but that is equal to 96 cups of sugar and goes a long way. For example I use only 2 drops for a 16 oz glass of iced tea.

A few beginning wine making questions...

I went the other way, I started with wine and moved to beer. I've never done the kits as there is a place near me that brings in CA wine grapes. Fermenting a kit in a carboy should work just fine. I bulk age my wine in carboys for about a year.

    CO2 to Dispense Wine

After falling in love with kegging on the beer side I was wondering if anyone has used a CO2 system to serve wine out of a 1-3 gallon container? I know if the pressure is up in the normal beer range you could get carbonated wine, but what if it was only in the 1-2psi range? I would still...

Need some help with a DIY tap handle idea

If you made something like the cork in a wine bottle you could just swap out the bottles and use the same threaded fitting. Think a crown cap (not crimped) with a wooden dowel on the other side of it that fits in the neck of the bottle. Have a hole in the center of the crown cap and behind...

    Where Are You getting Kegs

Wow I didn't realize what I was stirring up. There has to be a legit source because the Home Brew stores have them all cut open and plumbed for various things. I was hoping to save some money by doing such work myself

    Where Are You getting Kegs

I'm in S.E. MI and all the kegs I'm finding are well over $100. Are you guys finding them cheaper? This is the same price range of a Stainless Steel Stock Pot. I'm sure the kegs have thicker walls, but I don't know that I need that for a BIAB pot.

Looking for a Natural Gas Burner

It is the same size as everything else in the house, looks like 1" OD, so I should be fine.

Looking for a Natural Gas Burner

I've done some searching but most of the info appears to be 2 or more years old. I'm looking to do BIAB in a 15 or 20 gallon pot with a finished volume of 5 gallons (most of the time) or 10 gallons (once or twice a year with a friend). First I don't understand why natural gas burners are so...

    CO2 in Freezer?

I got a fridge/freezer for free so that what my kegs are going in for now. It easily fits my 2 kegs and the 5lb CO2 bottle, but I want to add more kegs and am wondering if there is any downside to moving the CO2 bottle up into the top freezer and finding some way to snake the gas hose down into...

BIAB brew stand with hoist and pump

Can you give me details on the natural gas burner? This is exactly where I want to be - BIAB over natural gas with 5 or 10 gallons final output.

At one restaurant in Disney World they served Birch Beer, which I liked a lot. I would love to do this if anyone knows of a place to get the concentrate.

First Time and Looking to Keg

If I plan on keeping the keg in the fridge will that take care of the yeast waking up after back-sweetening? I'm thinking -ferment -rack into keg -put the keg in the fridge -wait 2 weeks and taste -sweeten to taste -Drink but don't take keg out of fridge

First Time and Looking to Keg

Hello, I've been making wine for several years now and am just getting into extract brewing of beer. Found a super deal on kegs and CO2 setup and am liking it a lot. Has anyone tried kegging cider? I've found I like the taste of it, maybe even better than beer so I would like to have a keg...
