    Ceramic bottles

Bottles were less than $1.84 a bottle with a purchase of 1056 bottles(one pallet CM002). Shipping to me was $550, which added another $.50 a bottle. Shiiping another pallet was only and additional $100 though. By the time I figured shipping from me to other people in small lots I figured I...

    Homemade Ceramic Bottles

I'd say 2/3 for thrown bottles is pretty good.

    13 gallons stuck

I think you are correct. We had a bit of discussion about stepping it up and decided it would be best to leave it as is.

    13 gallons stuck

Sorry. 8 Teaspoons. A pint of aerated water. Added some bottling sugar yesterday and it resulted in noticeable firmentation. At the least I blew out the oxygen. Will give it a taste later, after I build up some courage.

    One Gallon Mead Recipe Anyone??

It isn't wax, but pectin, at least as I understand it.

    13 gallons stuck

My BIL, who has a 6 month baby, hasn't been available so I am on my own. No measurement taken as I have no idea how to do it and with all the things I added who knows what it will be. I just dumped half a pound of bottling sugar in and we will see what that does.

With everyone of your updates the temptation to clear away a decade of dust and search out a clay source grows. I have never done slip molds. Seems perfect though.

    13 gallons stuck

My brother-in-law and I just tried our first batch with a 13 gallon carboy and it is stuck, probably. 18 pounds of honey, 2 gallons of cider, some Irish moss and three tablespoons of yeast nutrient started out. It took us almost 24 hours from when we filled the carboy to when the temp...

    Bottles Anyone?

Uhhh... Is there any interest in reselling these? I have no problem buying used as we sanitize with bleach(usually soak in a solution for an hour or two just so we don't have to scrub much). You could set-up a nice homebrew supply distribution I think.

    Homemade Ceramic Bottles

THere is a device for muzzleloaders that uses a CO2 cartridge to eject an un-fired load. It just threads in. Drilling a plastic top, gluing a fitting into it, then attaching the item would not be too difficult and should provide a reasonably consistent pressure from bottle to bottle. I think...

    Ceramic bottles

I agree, but these bottles are also cappable. There are those who disagree with us though.

    Homemade Ceramic Bottles

I thought about Grolsch LONG before I posted that, but what do you think their shelf life is? Do you think they want bottles out for 2-3 months in the light? From my post above you might think I meant they are only good for a few days. That obviously isn't true, but the first time I reused...

    Ceramic bottles

I believe that is the same supplier I ran into before and have been unable to reach. My guess is they are the actual manufacturer and the goup out of Canada is purchasing from them. I can speak a little Chinese, but do not read or write. It seems they have no one who speaks English. I have...

    Ceramic bottles

No mix and match. That was my first question. I could settle on Number one with the 750 ML capacity. I want something that uses EZ-top and/or a normal cap.
