i havent tried it but popped in my head as something to try. i mean why the hell not we are here to experiment. ill have to get some whole leafs and try it out.
so if i put some whole leaf hops into a french press and poured a brew over it and pressed it out before pouring it into a glass, do you think i would get the same sort of effect as a organoleptic hop transducer?
i had the same thing happen for my caramel apple ale. i hope someone has an answer to this cause i sure dont. i brewed it last year and with time the foaming only gets worse. i have a stain on my ceiling from one bottle that as soon as i opened it rocked to the ceiling. my suggestion is to only...
i know if i scan around i can find all the info but was hoping i could get some help without having to look all over.
i have 2 corny kegs that ive had for some time for when i finally get around to kegging and its about that time. i have a fridge that is big enough to hold both of them and...
it doesnt always disappear. ive had plenty of brews where it stayed on top. if your real worried about it leave it for a couple more days but it will only go down very little if at all. the ingredients you used is what has caused this krausen to stay on top. if you duplicated the recipe, it...

1oz Coriander Seeds...

from my experience, sometimes that just happens. ive had yeasts that started fermentation within an a few hours and ive had yeasts do nothing for a day or two. patience is a major key to this addiction. plus keep in mind that its pretty hard to spoil your beer and never let anyone tell you to...
looks like fermentation to me. just wait it out. just because your not getting activity in your airlock doesnt mean fermentation isnt happening. just keep your lid on and let it do its magic. in about a week pop it open and take a grav reading and see what you have. we have all been in your...
i would try to keep as constant a temp as possible so stick with your keggerator. i would say that for all brews, to keep a constant temperature at all times.
i use the target brand juice and it turns out perfect. its called market fresh or something like that but its the target brand crap. hope that helps you.
