    Man, I love Apfelwein

Ed, I've got some in the secondary right now. I tasted it at transfer and it was tasting great! I hope it stays almost as sweet, but it's still bubbling away in the secondary. I transferred too early. after about 2 weeks, but I needed my primary.

    Decoction Mash Video

I've got a basic pale ale recipe that's my house brew. I'll look at beer smith and post the extract, partial mash/steeping grains, and all grain versions later this weekend.

Mr Beer - Read all about it and ask questions

I did start a batch of Appliqueing for her so now she has something to look forward too. She likes beer but has gotten a gluten sensitivity and really can't drink it anymore. She loves wine and hard cider so I thought I would get a batch of Appliqueing going and maybe carbonate half of it. But...

Fermentation can take 24 to 72 hrs to show visible signs.

I got started with Mr. Beer, but moved to all-grain brewing within 6 months.

I haven't searched, but is this a kit or have you posted a recipe before? It sure looks tasty.

    Skeeter Pee

I have a cranberry wine going right now that should be ready for it's first racking soon. I think I will use the yeast from that. How does a cranberry lemon skeeter pee sound? Could I just leave about half a gallon of the cranberry wine in the primary and add the skeeter pee ingredients right...

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

I have been brewing partial extract kits 5 gallons, and I want to make a 1 gallon batch but have no idea how to either cut ingredients from a 5 gallon kit, which I wouldn't really wanna do anyways. I was thinking cutting a mr beer kit between two 1 gallon fermenters, any ideas on that?

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

I would say the negativity towards 1 gallon brewers comes from people because of the little additional time needed to brew 5 gallons vs 1. If 1 gallon works for you, then great keep it up. Also I wouldn't consider it stepping up, going extract to all grain is stepping it up.

Easy Partial Mash Brewing (with pics)

Nice write up and the pictures are great. This should be helpful to a lot of folks.

I will say though, let's not advocate that thinking fermentation starting in more than 12 hours is a good thing. It isn't. Any longer than 12 hours and you are looking for trouble--infections, sub-par beer and quite frankly it is a bad brewing practice. :ban:

MR BEER ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! Ive been using it for about 30 years, and will never brew 5 gal batchs. Mr. Beer makes WAY better beer than any kit, extract, or all grain batch. Well, ok, Im kidding.. BUT, Mr Beer is what got me into home brewing and for that I tip my hat to you Mr. Beer, you have...
