If I have a recipe that calls for a 5 gal boil I think I need to create a recipe in BS with a 5 gal boil then somehow scale it down to a 2.5...not sure tho?
I'm used to doing a 2.5 boil and topping up to 5 gallons in the fermenter. Just got beersmith and I'm wondering how to enter a recipe that calls for a full 5 gallon boil and change it up to a 2.5 gal boil that tops up to 5gal in the fermenter? Any help is greatly appreciated.
