Every year we take a keg and jockey box to the D2 football championship in KC. This year I'm taking a porter with randal.. what fun things should I throw in it?

I am trying my first decoction with a pilsner. I brew in a 48 qt cooler mash tun and thought the Beersmith recommended amounts to decoct and boil seem low.
10.1 lbs grain decoct 6.74 qt to raise temp from 122 to 153... does this seem right?
That is just one step but its the most amount...
I am brewing my Bohemian Pilsner with White Labs Lager Yeast 800. I have brewed it a number of times but always fiddle with the schedule. Anyone has a go to fermenting and lagering schedule for WLP 800? I have temp control so that is not an issue. Thanks:mug:
I have seen folks use flavored syrups like a raspberry syrup in a Berlin weisse and was wondering if this would be done with a pilsner? I'm sure it could be done but wondered if anyone had tried it? Let's me know your thoughts.

I recently added an Ss pick up tube to my keggle now my copper wort chiller doesn't reach all the way to the bottom. Can I place mu copper in before boil then attach the Ss tube to the bulk head between the copper chiller and boil for an hour with it in there? I usually add it with 15 left but...

Woke up this morning and found little white sports on top of my yeast starter. All were right about the same size. I don't use a stir plate I just swirl when I walk by in a 1 gallon jar. I didn't take a pic but my brew day isn't till Monday so I will if t happens again. Any ideas? Mold...
