I'm thinking about getting a small reverse osmosis setup for brewing water only. Would I just store it wet and flush for a couple of minutes between uses? I would only use it 1-2 times per month. Or would this infrequent usage cause problems with the unit.
I'm thinking about something...
Sorry for the delay. I'll explain....
First off, the kettle is great. All the welds are perfect. I ordered a custom configuration with an extra full port inlet in the front for my whirlpool setup. Tim, the guy at Colorado Brewing Systems, emailed me and said that because of how close the...
I've talked to the guy who owns the company and have given him an order for a 20 gallon kettle with an element triclamp ferule and 3 welded 1/2 inch couplers. I'll report back when I get it.

I'm setting up an indoor electric brewery and I'm ready for a kettle with a triclamp for an element. I'm considering brewershardware, spikebrewing, and this Colorado brewing system outfit.
I haven't seen anyone comment on this place. They have...
I would love info about anyone close (Paola is fine).
I've talked to a couple of guys, but I'm nervous dropping off my precious brew kettle not knowing if the guy or gal knows what they are doing.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a welder in the KC area who could do a good job of installing a welded ferrule in my stainless brewpot? I want to use one of Bobby's element enclosure.

What about this element? All stainless and LWD? I was going to go with a ULWD element, but if this works it is a cheap SS option. I'm putting together a RIMs tube setup from BrewHardware.
I'm considering dipping my toe into ebrewing, so be gentle.
I now do 10 gallon batches using a manually controlled direct fired recirculating mash tun. I'd like to control my mash temps better. I've considered the Blichman TOP, but I would like to introduce Ebrewing into my setup.
I'm...
The water will eventually reach my boil kettle, it just doesn't come into contact with the grain at the initial mash in. I'm just trying to hit my target mash in temperature.
I've got a new polar ware mash tun with false bottom. I've always used a cooler before.
There is 2.5 gallons of water under the false bottom that is making my strike water temp tough to figure out. 10 gallon batch and a batch sparge technique, 20 lbs of grain, 1.5 qt/pound mash thickness...
