The 30 psi regulator from Amazon has a safety. To reset it you need to disconnect from the tank. Open your tank slow to keep from tripping this safety.
Here is what I have so far. Going to keep using my cooler for mash tun for awhile. It will be on top rack until I get a kettle. Then the top rack will be going away. Next thing is to order some burners this week.
Another thing about a keezer is. Do you want to lift a 1/2 barrel up and over the edge? As for the 5lb CO2 it would work just fine. There are web sites that say it would last 5-7 half kegs. I have a 5lb and it cost me around $20 to get a full one. Planning on moving up to a 20lb tank I hear...
Just priced out wire. I came to the conclusion that it is preaty close to the same price per pound. HD has lincolin brand for $12 for a 1 lb spool and HF has there brand for $24 for a 2 lb spool. Now I could have misread something. But to me it looks to be the same price.

The strain of yeast is London ale (wyeast 1968).
Planning on doing a sweet stout and I can't seem to figure which hops to use. I was thinking about using fuggles for bittering and kent goldings with a pinch of cascade for aroma. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions?
I have three kegs in there right now. The third is just sitting in there conditioning. Don't know if I can get the fourth one in there. This freezer measure a little different then a new 7 cubic foot GE. Might be able to slide one in if I put the CO2 outside or build a collar. Don't go...
I visted Snake River Brewery acouple days ago. And the wife really like there A.K. Session brew. Does anyone have a clone recipe or something real close to this brew?
