Gents and ladies, my attempt using a base oatmeal stout and adding cocoa nibs, lactose and chocolate essence was pleasant enough but not close. Hope someone cracks the secret. I was in London in May and Smith's was hard to find.

I called LCBO and the next shipment is scheduled to arrive in Aug. They said I could call the importer to place a personal order but thought it would be expensive.

I tried SS at a party and was pleasantly surprised. Their popularity must be increasing because they are sold out at all the Toronto LCBO outlets yesterday. Keep at it folks. I'm hoping to try using Festa Brew's Double Oatmeal Stout wort as the base.
