    My StillDragon Controller Build

Yeah I tested with water yesterday, that Romex needs to go ASAP, it's a pain to deal with.

    My StillDragon Controller Build

So below you will see my take on the StillDragon controller build. If you see something obviously wrong please let me know. I really wish I had used actual 10-3 service cable instead of 10-3 Romex. The Romex is not very flexible. I may re-wire it in the future when I add a display to it...

Festbier Bee Cave Brewery Oktoberfest Ale

I'm doing a BIAB version of this on Saturday morning. The grain/hop bill is identical to Edworts the only thing that I changed was the mash (obviously). Here's what BF came up with: http://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/embed/381134 I'll post some brew day picks tomorrow hopefully...

Saison Boulevard Smokestack Series Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale Clone

Okay now that it's over I can state that the recipe I used a few pages back took first for its style in the St Louis regional and a 30 overall at nationals with oxidation being by far my biggest critique (which is no fault of the recipe). I'm normally a kegger so I obviously need to purchase a...

    DMaDM Red IPA

So now that I'm buying everything in bulk I wanted to whip up an IPA from mostly bulk ingredients I have purchased. I made the beer below and it was amazing. This is a Double Malt and Double Hop IPA. Very easy to make. Very delicious as well. Beautiful color! I made this for a game night we...

Help! At my wits end with kegging!

Aye, I'm running 10ft of tubing and have the flow control set to basically zero resistance. So far so good.

Help! At my wits end with kegging!

Well I figured it out! When I replaced the line I noticed that the old line was much larger, most likely 5/16ths, once the clamp was loosened it slid off really easily. When I put the new correct 3/16ths line on I had to soak the end in hot water to even get it to go on. For some reason that...

Help! At my wits end with kegging!

It's Menards tubing. Now that I think of it the old keggarator had tubing that came with my original kit. If swapping out the gas doesn't work I'll order some real tuning from an actual brew store. Right now, if I was in Vegas, I'd bet that they filled the canister with beer gas. I'm...

Help! At my wits end with kegging!

At this point all signs are pointing to the gas. I think I'll move to a new vendor. I've now: Checked everything for leaks. Replaced the beer line with 10 feet of new 3/16th tubing. To answer some questions: I replaced the regulator in an attempt to fix this issue, both regulators showed...

Help! At my wits end with kegging!

At this point I'll do anything. I'll let you know the results on Monday. I'll put everything under water.

Help! At my wits end with kegging!

Nope, I switched from a vertical fridge to a chest freezer at the new house. A few of you mentioned the tank, that was my thought as well. I've used the same Co2 tank the entire time, but I'm wondering if I got bad gas?? I would think that any gas will absorb into the beer though right?

Sorry I left those off. I've replaced all rings.

Help! At my wits end with kegging!

So I've been homebrewing for 7+ years now. I've been kegging for probably 5 of those 7 years. About 4 of the 5 years kegging was fine, until we moved... I've recently ran into a hurdle that I can't get over. My beer will NOT carbonate. I've replaced the lines, the regulator, both taps, I've...

    Long time brewer going eBIAB

Hi all. Wee bit of an update. I've done a bunch more research. The BIAB forum here is great and I've also joined BIABrewer.info and learned a lot from there. I have two main goals here: 1. Make good beer 2. Spend more time with the family I think I can accomplish both of those things...

    Long time brewer going eBIAB

Wow, really? Have a link to the plans? I'm dangerously competent with wiring. I ran 100 ft of 8-3, installed a sub breaker box, and wired all the outlets and lights but I'll need a fairly detailed instructions to feel safe. Also, since I ran 8-3 and not 6-3 I'm limited to 40A so I was...
