I make this beer so much that it instantly comes to mind when I think English pale ale. For the following picture I used delta hops and wlp002 (fuller's strain).

Yeah, Arkansas' taxes on commodities are crazy, but then again you live in California so I don't think my argument holds. We do have a very significant state excise tax though on spirits. Also, you lucky bastard, I wouldn't drink anything else.

Buffalo Trace is an amazing bourbon that is in the same price and competitive bracket as makers 46. I think a 1/5 bottle is $44 here in Arkansas. Makers 46 is a specialty of the makers mark brand. I don't know if you are asking for top shelf bottles from distillers or just ~90 points rated bourbons.

Hmm green bullet, seems like a cool flavor profile. Go for it, similar to galaxy in AA but that is about it. It may be good. I just like fruity hops so I chose citra and galaxy. The base grains and sugar provide a good backbone in my opinion so mess around with hops. Let me know how that...

I thought FAA's rule was to not open them on the plane? When I bought a bomber and a 6-pack in Anchorage they slapped some big ole red stop sign stickers on them... I guess growlers are better. Unfortunately I made a connecting in Portland before I headed back to Arkansas and didnt have a place...
