Hi Kaljade, PO @ -100%, HO @ -150% are these meant to be minus numbers ? I tried but was very slow to work . Changed to 100% and 150% seem ok now .

Ht, Ho and Hd whats everyone setting these to ? I have mine at 98c,80% and 15min. Thinking 15min might be too long seems to take an age to countdown to 1st hop addition.

whats everyone running the SO - Strike output % at ? I've had it at 100% but not happy with the time taken to reach temp. should I run it at 200%?

Q , is temp prob needed in wort for unit to run correctly once boil starts ? I have been hanging the prob over the side of kettle during boil and seems to give off incorrect temps after 20min or more . But the mash stage is fine ? if its not in the kettle will the unit still run the recipe...

Ok I changed the APF numbers from the preset and now the alarms are not working ? in test #1 there was alarms for the dough in etc now nothing ? Not sure but would using a incorrect number do this, it still functioned correctly just no alarms?

ok 3 mash steps.1st was meant 30min duration was 15min, 2nd 40min was 37min duration and 3rd mash step was mash out for 10min was 9 . 3min? not.sure why.

ok sorry to be a pain doing a 2nd test run and 15min into a 39min step mash it started ramping up ? not sure why didn't do it 1st time ? Ive not changed anything from the first time apart from changing the hop additions?

awesome, doing a test run tonight all seems good. One more thing is possible to do a whirlpool step with pump? would be at end of boil for 20min or so ?

Question, can I set Pf 1,2 and 4 to run at same time or is it 1 or the other? I want the pump to run while ramping temp as well as during mash step.

Ok made the controller wired it up and ready to go. Has anyone had any issues with heat build up inside the box ? A few other brewers reckon I could have a problem?

my friends say the dimmer will damage the pump , is it an issue?
