I switched my iSpindels to the GravityMon firmware - it has calibration and formula generation built in, and works great - GravityMon.com - open source for beer brewing You can specifically tell it to retry the wifi connection a few times, which helps if your connection isn't totally reliable

Anyone have a reliable source for D1 mini devices right now? Two of my 3 devices have the "stops waking up from deep sleep" problem, both with GravityMon and the original iSpindel firmware

It could be the sd card since brewpi constantly writes to it. Try a different one. I did have something similar happen (with the pi not coming all the way up after power cycling it) and going to a different card solved it for me. It might be nice to figure out how to get tilt pi to mount...
