    Brewzilla vs grainfather

I have never brewed on a GF, so I would value the opinion Whiskey River! Forgot to mention we have the 35L Version of the Brewzilla, 110V, and it is slower and does not boil as vigorously as the 220V, so my opinion of 110 vs 220 is founded on experience. But, you can work ahead and pre-heat...

    Brewzilla vs grainfather

Have Brewzilla 65L, 220v, love it. Either unit is probably something you would enjoy and crank out very consistent results. Gen 3, which I have, is a ridiculous value with BF discounts.

What can I brew for kids?

I have water kefir that is fun to flavor, and can make it fizzy.

    Brewzilla Gen4 Discussion/Tips Talk

Our brew crew has both the 65L(220) and 35L(110). The 35L has the site glass, which I would not recommend as it restricts the pump/liquid volume. I highly recommend the 220 if you can power it, huge difference in heating capability. Love these units, both Gen 3.1.1.

    Robobrew/Brewzilla Discussion

Appreciate the response, such fantastic deals on the Gen 3 versions out there, am being hyper-sensitive because the deal is so tempting. Highly recommended unit for anyone considering one.

    Robobrew/Brewzilla Discussion

I have a Brewzilla 65L Gen 3.1.1, love the unit. Curious if anyone has experience on how long/or how many brews before the unit starts to wear out? Reason I ask, is the cost of this version is extremely reasonable, and after about 125 brews, I am starting to wonder if pump and heating elements...

    Glue from hell

My Wife likes Chimay, LaChouffe, and Duval, all those bottles are great. I also buy some of the larger German bottles/Singles that work great.

    Glue from hell

I just avoid bottles with those type of labels/glue, too much work. As someone mentioned above, I save the European bottles, soak in oxyclean, and then scotch pad anything left.

    Haven't brewed in 15 years!

After brewing a little in college, went all grain when I entered the hobby during Covid. Have a Brewzilla 65L, can't imagine brewing on anything else as easy it makes it. Also started with glass carboys, and switched to buckets, both plastic and picked up a used Anvil SS one on marketplace...

    Haven't brewed in 15 years!

I have the SS Brewtech conical fermenter, don't use it much because I lack controls for it. I have an old dorm fridge that will handle buckets, so prefer those to be honest.

My Homebrew Supplier Didn't Like My Recipe

Can you brew a small batch of the original recipe to see what you get? I value the advice of Homebrew staff, and ask them to talk me out of anything that is headed away from target. And, they routinely do, by offering what I will get vs what I am after and then we adjust.

    Acquiring a used smaller fridge

I got a small dorm fridge that holds a bucket (barely), but had to cut the plastic storage rack on the inside of door out, then just got some of that bubble/foil insulation and taped to the gap. Works great with an inkbird.

I am even messing with a brew bag instead of the hop spider when doing a conventional brew in my Brewzilla.

    New brewing setup advice needed

I have the Gen 3 65l system, excellent results, easy to use. Similar to what you have, but bigger, and may be able to pick up the older version at a nice discount. I use this for smaller test batches, leave malt pipe out and do BIAB. Also removed the overflow pipe from basket, and fitted a...
