Got about 30 packs of this dry yeast I want to see go to good use. Willing to do $1.00 a packet or trade for some of yet homebrew. Shipping included. Believe date is may 15 so I hate to see these either away and be useless. Thanks, cheers .
I read that and it talks of pouring back in. I keep the sample in a seperate container until time to bottle then I boil thoroughly and add primer to it. I haven't noticed any issues but I've only done maybe four out of the ten or so batches I've brewed since July last year.
I have a pumpkin ale hanging out until thanksgiving when I plan to do black and tans with it and my Irish stout.
But I love everything fall and winter even more.
Chilled the bottles I used maple syrup in last night and drank. Didn't notice any maple flavor at all, I'm guessing if I added it to secondary it would be a different story. May have to try that as well as a Graham cracker addition on the next batch.
