Yeah, something got into the launch page and is a re-direct. However it seems if you don;t go to the Comp's "home page" but instead go to the "LOG IN" it hasn't be redirecting. We have held off deleting and reinstalling as we believe it will delete all the judge and beer / brewer entries...

Actually you do not depending on which ticket was purchased. (member or guest) This ticket was purchased as the 1 guest allowed with the AHA member. I will still have mine. I called last week and verified. That being said, Schaffer never followed through so it's still available.

You can add the vanilla bean to a little bit of vodka and make a tincture, or you could do the scrape method and boil it with a little bit of water for a very short period just to ensure its sanitized.
It should carb up well, even after lagerring I have bottled without adding more yeast and that still had yeast to go (although it was a lager yeast, so was happier cold) but that's not important.
MichaelBrock has it right as well as the other guys. If your looking for a big kick of bitterness, use the high alpha hops to get the most bang for your buck. For IPA's and APA's you will use the hops you like the aroma of best, and they can vary in the %. My last batch I made 11 gallons of a...
