    Brewtarget 2.0 Update

    I know this an old thread, but I am still seeing this in Mac v2.3. If I adjust the 'Kettle to fermenter' and 'Lauter deadspace' fields, then my gravity fields go down. . . . Is anyone else seeing this behavior? Edit: I just checked and the same thing happens in the Linux amd64 package.

    I second Sammy's comment. I typically just try to place my carboy where I will be racking from the evening before bottling day and let it settle at room temp. My beers usually clear up nicely with post carbonation chilling whether bottle conditioned or kegged.

    Yeah, I thought about that too. I was planning on chucking it, but when I opened a hose on it and all visible material fell away I figured I would give it a shot. Might toss it in my pressure cooker for a few minutes if I end up using it again. I'm not fully comitted.

    It's a 5 micron cartridge filter. I back flushed it with water, then sanitizer and am keeping it stored in the filter housing in sanitizer in my kegerator.
