    15 Gallons of Apfelwein

Wow - sorry, totally missed this question for 4 years. The peach was excellent but a lot of particulate in the final result if you move the keg AT ALL. Especially as you get down to the bottom of course. Never ended up doing cherries or spices, but made 1 normal and 2 peach. Still pull...

How to Clean a Jockey Box?????

I know this thread is a bit old but was wondering if you remember where you got this. I just looked around on Amazon and couldn't find anything that looked like it'd work.

Borrow/Buy Jockey Box or Plate Chiller?

Does anyone in the Denver/Boulder area have a jockey box or plate chiller I could borrow for the weekend? I'm hosting a big event and this would help out a ton. I'd be happy to put down some sort of deposit if you would like or am also open to purchasing. Thanks!

    Mark 2 Keg Washer

Yes - I have this too. Also, there have been several times when plugging it in does nothing. Unplug, plug in, nothing, unplug, plug in, nothing, unplug, plug in - boom, it starts up.

    Mark 2 Keg Washer

Thanks - I've googled around a bit and haven't found anything that would work for this particular application. I'm all ears for ideas! EDIT: I'm thinking an aquarium heater would work - the challenge is that most I've seen are either a.) too big or b.) don't go beyond 94* or so.

    Mark 2 Keg Washer

I'll post some pictures of mine at some point. My other mod at some point might be to add in a heater of sorts. I stuck one of these jobbers below in a very small bromex beaker on a piece of tile to keep the water warm as the recirculation causes the temp to drop very quickly. It worked...

    Mark 2 Keg Washer

Thanks Kincade, I'll e-mail mark to get his feedback. With regards to the spilling, it happened most often with the 6.5 gallon buckets. This wasn't a result of the fill level being too high (as I did experiment with various amounts of liquid), but can likely be attributed to too high...

    Mark 2 Keg Washer

Okay - after trying mine on a carboy, 8 cornys, 1 better bottle and 5 buckets, I have some feedback. I am somewhat disappointed in this $70 (with discount) product. A few thoughts: 1.) When attempting to attach the 3/16" hose to the tee that goes to the ball lock connector, without...

Pliny the Elder....not as good as it use to be

http://www.theelectricbrewery.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25406 "The beer has undergone some minor tweaks over the years, so you'll see variations posted all over the internet. The recipe below is based on something close to the original, scaled for our system. Today the brewery supposedly no...

    American macrobrew clones!

Correction - Bud Light PREMIUM! And give the guy a break - we all go into homebrewing for the same reason: To brew beer we like. If he/she likes BLP, go for the gold! Once he/she accidentally adds too much grain/hops, they might find that taste interesting add even more hops/grain to their...
