Hi all I was thinking of branching out a bit and brewing some lagers but I don't have ant refrigeration equipment just yet. Has anyone had success using alternative yeasts like California common and kolsch to brew pilsners bocks and other traditionally lagered beers. Thanks again
Hey all. I am a casual brewer working on my sixth beer... a nontraditional maibock that uses ale yeast. I borrowed from a recipe in BYO magazine and pitched some Rogue PacMan which I cultivated from a growler of Dead Guy Ale.
