6 cups honey 1 gal water. I realized after that I only needed 4 cups of honey I have some brewing now I will need to buy more yeast before the next batch that's why I asked about the yeast I'm shooting for a high alcohol and sweet
the hydrometer is good I checked to make sure I'm a complete rookie at this but I'm still alive so it can't be all bad I'm using lalvin d47 is there a better yeast?
it turned out real sweet had to cut it with vodka to enjoy it I let it brew for 8 weeks with double the normal yeast, can anyone hazard a guess at the alcohol content. yes it is floating
