Started growing them this spring, and so far doing well. Found what looks to be wild hops growing in a canyon up north. Will head back asap to check them out again this year.

Sounds like a project I will have to try. A local brewer gave me about 15 pounds of older hops the other day, and I was wondering what to do with them.

Thank you for the information, I too plan to boost the ABV in my RIS. My first one came out great, but the ABV was only 6%. I am looking at getting 9% on my next one, but want the same complexity in the taste. My only problem is I will over fill my mash tun. :tank:

Thanks, I will dig them up because the Fuggle and Northern Brewer did not do so well. I will use the Cascade rhizomes across the three planters this fall as some stated in #82 to give them time to get a good root base. It will not get real cold here until late December. Thanks again, and happy...
