Thanks Greg! It's appreciated. A simple BIAB calc and simple HOWTO book go hand in hand :ban: Hopefully we can make BIAB easier for newbies and experienced people alike :)

I love Irish dry stout. Prolly a Murphy's. Stone IPA is one of my favorites also... Decisions decisions

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

This beer is about as light as you get. The BMC crowd likes this for sure. I think it'd be an excellent quaffer on a hot day. Nice recipe Biermuncher.

    beer books

i find it kind of odd that there isn't more literature out there on homebrewing. Just a handful or two of real solid books. How to Brew, Complete Joy of Homebrewing, Brewing Classic Styles, Homegrown Hops etc.

    1. I don't want anyone burning their bag. The temp part of the BIAB calc is very accurate. 2. No mash out needed. The BIAB in my book was my third and I got 90%. Mash outs are for when grain is sitting n can get cold. We are boiling right after mash full volume, isn't that quick raise...

    1. Forgetting hops. Epic fail lol 2. Putting down just boiled keggle on that expensive plastic composite board on my deck 3. Having hot wort splash my face/body by leaning over the keggle Hehehe I've had some good ones

Is your brew day like a work day?

Lol awesome. Mine used to feel like a work day and sometimes after I'd feel stressed like it was one. Then I used the BIAB and no chill techniques as documented in my ebook. Now I'm done in <3 hours and it's nice. I don't like to rush, I like to feel relaxed when I'm doing hobbies. Hobbies...

I ripped brand new bags I had from the lhbs. Better off to grab Jeff's bag right off the bat or sew up something yourself if you've got the skills. Cheap bags suck
