Oh, and my plan is to recirculate to a bucket in a cooler. The bucket will contain ice filled beer cans prepared the day before. Recirculating to the bucket will force chill in the bucket and cold water will pour over into the cooler, also filled with ice filled beer cans.
If you see nothing in a couple of days, you might want to consider an additional dose of yeast. But I would not use champagne yeast nor would I transfer it into another vessel. I would agree with the careful stir and warm up first though.
Hello evollsixes If you are talking about making a boil kettle with a 1 inch pipe running through the flame, I think that will be trouble. I believe you will scorch the wort in the pipe during boil. It will probably produce a burnt off flavor.
