Can I add Irish moss to the secondary? I am thinking I will boil a tsp of moss in a cup of water for ten mins, cool, and dump in secondary? Will this help me clear the beer I have in secondary?

The instructions suggest letting the pack sit for three hours after smacking, I assume if you are smacking straight out the frig you are waiting longer than three hours to pitch?
I assume adding the coffee at bottling is going to affect the abv? I am thinking of doing similar to an oatmeal stout I have in primary now. Is there a way to measure the effect the coffee addition will have on the stout abv?
