Recently moved from TX to NC and realized I have WAAAAAAY too many glasses. Originally I used to pick up a couple here and there at beer stores, Flying Saucer Glass Nights, etc, but for a while now I have limited myself to only purchasing glassware from an actual brewery I visit and try not to...
I should clarify that I have no basement or any other temperature-stable area other than the house interior which is constantly at 69 during the cooler months and around 78 in the summer. 69 is pushing it and 78 is almost definitely too warm for more aggressive fermentation
Sent from my VS980...
Planning on using a keg with some sort of pressure relief system, either of my own design or one from brewers hardware, and use it for fermenting.
I've been searching for a while and short of using a dedicated fridge with some thermostat set up how else do you maintain temp control on a keg...
Thanks for all the input guys. I will probably do a 50/50 mix of 10gal and not-10gal brews (some 5, some less). HERMS is definitely something that crossed my mind. Just have to figure out how to incorporate that into a 3 tier.
Hey guys, I'm still rather new to homebrewing but would like to scale up from my current setup. I have been doing small batches in my tiny little Mr Beer setup and it has served me well for all-grain as well as extract. I've done 4 recipes to date (2 extract, 2 AG) and I'm thrilled with the...

Get a scope from Primary Arms. Yes they are knockoffs and made in China (what isn't nowadays?) but they are actually very high quality and do the job well!
Hey everyone, well my wife has officially decided its time to evict my beer from the kitchen fridge and I need a new home for them ASAP. I had done some searching around to see what worked best. I found a 38 bottle dual zone wine cooler for a few hundred bucks or I could get a regular full size...
My fiancee got me a Mr Beer kit for Christmas and I put the first batch in bottles about a month ago. I saw its a minimum of 7 days to ferment in the bottles, but what is a generally accepted time to actually wait? Looks like I'll be investing in a mini-fridge to keep all of the bottles in. No...
Hey everyone! My name is Chris and I'm stationed at NAS Pensacola. I've been a beer fanatic for quite some time now and this Christmas my fiancee got me a Mr Beer kit (the one with the bottles) and I'm just trying to get my feet wet with brewing. I've been very interested in the process for a...
