For Sale (Denver, CO) - Full Grain Mill Setup

Greetings all - I am hoping to sell my grain mill. It's a monster mill grain mill. I can't remember if it is a MM2 or MM3 (probably MM2) but it is with two rollers. I have probably only used it 3-4 times before I had to leave the hobby. I am asking $100 for the entire setup (motor included)...

Kegging Sanke w/o Cold Side Oxidation

Recently participated in a HomeBrew competition and was knocked down for oxidation presumably on cold side. I usually ferment now in sanke kegs and use a siphon /gravity feed into another sanke. can anyone suggest better ways to move my beer? I’m using just a standard number 10 cap on my sanke...

    Boulder "Shake" Chocolate Porter

Welp I'm back - I used Seagondollar's recipe with a tablespoon of nesquick, 2 lbs of coconut and 6 oz of nibs I don't know what happened but I have some pretty horrible head retention. Probably the secondary coconut. The taste is great though. Just trying to figure out if the nesquick or the...

    Boulder "Shake" Chocolate Porter

Well it’s been a while since I threw out the Nesquick joke but I am going to finally brew this thing in the next couple weeks. Will let you guys know how it comes out. I’m gonna add some Nesquick somewhere. Also going to add coconut just because it’s a tradition that I make coconut beer ever my...

    Motor Shaft Coupling Help

Hey fellas I've determined that my malt muncher motor uses a 12mm shaft and my MM grain crusher uses a 1/2in shaft. I am having all kinds of trouble finding a coupling though that will adapt US to metric. I've seen a few other people with this build. Can anyone share their specs or source for...

    Grainfather G70 in the U.S.

I’m late to the thread and reading this on a mobile device - but does it have 220v? I’d love to hear how heavy that mash baskets going to be as well. I have enough troubles with the 5gallon.

    Grainfather!!

My question is at what point in the chain do you have to adjust for the higher amperage. Is it just the plug or is it the wires behind the plug as well? I saw someone earlier in this thread who took out the plug completely and hardwired to an extension cord. I’m thinking that’s the best option...

Stuck Fermention - Repitched. How long?

When I pitched the Wyeast I started at 55 and eventually worked my way up to 65. It had petered out though. I don’t think I was under temp based off Wyeast’s recommendations on temp off their own website (https://wyeastlab.com/yeast-strain/k%C3%B6lsch). The listed range is 56-70. My only...

Stuck Fermention - Repitched. How long?

Yeah it was Safale. It’s an IPA and I used a Wyeast Kolsh pack with a starter at I think 1500 or 1750 ml. The only thing I screwed up on is that I let the yeast settle in my starter and only dumped in the yeast slurry. That was probably my flaw. As far as the fermentation went I started around...

Stuck Fermention - Repitched. How long?

I had a stuck fermentation with a gravity around 1.032 - pitched some SF-05 to get down to 1.013ish How long would you say that I need to actually wait for the yeast to ferment and clean up? I've never had a stuck fermentation before and repitched. Do I honestly need to wait an additional 30 days?

    Kegco Kegerator - Line Question

Kegco sends me a kegerator with lines about 5 ft maybe 6 ft max. Any of you fellow brewers with commercial kegerators, - do you pop on your own 10 footers? I’ve always used 10 footers in my DIY days and I really don’t want to replace these lines (because they’re already connected and it’s...

Belgian Blond Ale Revvy's Belgian Blonde (Leffe Clone)

Wow I’m sorry I offended you so much - was just asking a simple question vs reading through 609 pages of thread to see if circumstances had changed over the years.

    Grainfather!!

I switched over to brewfather from BeerSmith after a lot of people told me brewfather was the best app for the GF. So far I’ve been really impressed with BF. I just export from BF, load my recipes into the Grainfather app (so it can run the recipe via the controller) but I still maintain all my...
