    Honeywell VR8200 power usage

Yes, Namako, I would say the AT72D should work just fine. Looks like it's 24VA, which should be plenty to run 2 controllers. Looks like HD also has a Johnstone PF42440 40VA transformer for $12.59.

    Honeywell VR8200 power usage

Agreed, nice answer, reynolds! That makes perfect sense. I ended up not finding the answer to my question so I just bought one big enough to supply the additional 500mA. For reference, here's the one I bought...

Side by Side kegerator / fermentation chamber

What size fridges are you guys using? I'm planning to do something like this, but I'm not sure how big I need to be able to fit four carboys, preferably 6.5 gallon glass. Or better yet, what make and model are you guys using? Thanks,BB

What size refrigerator fits four carboys?

I've seen several peoples' builds of side-by-side fridge conversions to fermenting chambers. I'm wondering what size fridge is big enough to fit four carboys (preferably up to 6.5 gallon glass)? I am willing to remove door shelves and build internal shelves. If you can put four carboys in...

Keggle Tri Clover Dip Tube Solutions?

maltose, that's nearly perfect, although pricey. The universal siphon starts from NPT and adapts to tri clover, but I would prefer tri clover only. Sabco also makes a tri clover only siphon, but they run everything at 1/2" tri clover (I think), which I don't really want to do. Either way, I...

Keggle Tri Clover Dip Tube Solutions?

samc, are you adapting all of your fittings (the compression and the 90 degree elbow) from a NPT coupler welded into the side wall? If so, how often do you disassemble the MPT from the coupler for cleaning?

Keggle Tri Clover Dip Tube Solutions?

I'm getting ready to have tri clover ferrules welded into some keggles for a brutus-like build. Does anybody out there have a good solution for dip tubes in the HLT, MT, and BK using tri clovers? I'm guessing I could have custom tri clover dip tubes made, but that's about all I could come up...

    Honeywell VR8200 power usage

I'm working on a Brutus clone that uses three Honeywell VR8200 gas controls. I'm trying to figure out the amount of power required for the 110VAC->24VAC transformer. Although it will probably never happen, I'd like to have a transformer big enough to run all three gas controllers at the same...

Is your Brutus 10 clone stable?

Thanks for all of the advice! Gotta love HBT. BB

Is your Brutus 10 clone stable?

Hey, howdy, hey, For all of you out there with Brutus 10 clones, do you find it's wide enough to be stable? I am in the design phase of a clone using keggles, and I'm looking at overall dimensions of around 58" (long) x 18" (wide/deep) x 28" (tall, not counting casters). I'd rather not have...
