The stand is a concern, for sure. I've found 2 cheap options... above building my own, and below the cost of the blichmann or the MoreBeer stuff. Not sure on the build quality of these but they look viable...

As most thing, depends on ultimate cost. I'd like to have automated burner via temp switch on the HLT at a min... but I guess if you're doing that you ma as well go full bore?
