just kegged my first 5 gallon batch of the Blonde. Quite possibly the lightest beer I've ever brewed. Tastes good. I'm dry hopping this with a 1/2 oz of Saaz 2.4AA in the keg while conditioning to give it a little more flavor. FG was 1.008-1.009. I'll call it 4.9 ABV. so far I'm thinking...
I've measured this out to be 7 tsp (teaspoon) = 1 oz. or 2.33333 tbsp (tablespoon) = 1 oz.
For fermenters and kegs PBW says .75 oz per gallon of water.
Using teaspoons; it would take 3.75 oz. for 5 gallons. I did some math and that would come out to 26.25 tsp. or 8.75 tbsp. Might as well make...

Ended up brewing this today instead of yesterday. Hit all my numbers and it looks good. Didn't add the Saaz though. Maybe I'll add that in the secondary. By far the lightest beer I've brewed.
I'm trying this out tomorrow. 10 gallons all grain. Had to adjust the grain bill a little since the LHBS ran out of Crystal 10L. So it is going to be with 14.2 oz of 10L and the rest of the pound with 20L. Shouldn't make much difference. Sounds like a good brew. Gonna use WLP002 yeast as...
That's kind if what I was thinking. Thanks for the input.
I'm brewing up 10 gallons of porter today and only have one vial of yeast. I'll just pitch half of the starter in each carboy today and buy another vial tomorrow.
Weeks ago I stored some yeast out of 2 primary fermenters and forgot to sanitize the flask. It has been at room temp and sealed since then, but, I'm now worried that the yeast is no good. Should I worry about this?
