Show Me Your Wood Brew Sculpture/Rig

Nice flow diagram and thread! I've been spending all of my money lately fixing up our house, but hopefully I'll be converting to electric before long. I'll definitely be using your build as inspiration for a cheaper control panel. Thanks!

Show Me Your Wood Brew Sculpture/Rig

Do you mind sharing a flow diagram so we know how it works? Also, how are you using your valves? It looks like there are only valves on your pumps and one of your hoses - were you just trying to save money on the valves or is there some other advantage here? Looks great btw. I'm super jealous...

    DIY Walk In Cooler Build

I just read through the whole thread. Great build and great notes/ pictures. I'm planning to convert a coal room in my basement into a humidity controlled walk in (if I ever stop financing other hobbies long enough to save the money for the supplies). Luckily my space is already inside a...

Show Me Your Wood Brew Sculpture/Rig

I've been brewing for a few years now. I used to use my buddy's old wooden three tier stand, but it didn't have wheels and was super heavy. I used this for the first time for a Labor day pumpkin ale brew (for a buddy's wedding next month). It went great! I designed the stand to be very compact...

    Chai tea in beer?

I was at Jackie O's in Athens, OH for the most recent bottle release. Brad there had brewed a Chai stout with his Dark by 7 stout as the base. My wife and I both thought it was an incredibly delicious beer - esp with a steak and eggs breakfast. That said, half of the people loved it and half...

TIG welding in the Cincinnati area?

Cool. I've checked out the places you guys recommended. I contacted L&M today via email. I'd previously contacted Monnig Welding and Queen City Laser and Fabrication; Monnig doesn't do any TIG welding and Queen City Laser didn't reply to my email. I'll update here when I hear back from L&M or if...

TIG welding in the Cincinnati area?

I have a three keggle setup that I inherited from a friend of a friend a few years ago. I've been brewing a lot more lately and would like to install a HERMS coil into the hlt (as well as a thermometer and other accessories). Since the other ports are all welded, I'd like to stick with welded...

Questions about March Pumps answered by the Factory!

I've been considering adding a second pump to my brewing setup. The first pump was part of a pre-configured system that I received. It's a March 809. I've had great success with it. That said, I looked into the other pump options to determine if that's what I'll add for the next addition. The...
