    Hey guys, Real quick question. I picked up a mash tun from a friend for really cheap, so I'm looking into getting into AG brewing. The question I have is I only have a 7.5 gallon kettle. Will this end up being sufficient or will I need to invest in a larger pot?

    I pretty much followed directions to the letter. Was a 5 gal recipe, cooked with 3 gal, then added water to top off to 5. Took OG reading from final mix. Not sure where I misstepped. Went ahead and pulled off airlock, cleaned and sanitized and put back on. Mix is still happily fermenting away.
