Football how I love and hate you

Not a bad idea. I used to brew stove top, but since switching to kegging, it's only been worth the effort to do bigger batches.

Football how I love and hate you

Yeah, we sometimes watch TV while brewing, but that's not the issue. It's the weekends where we go to both the NFL and NCAA games in the area and tailgate that take time away from brewing.

Football how I love and hate you

I always love when football season gets here because it means I get to enjoy the beer I've brewed and take a more relaxing approach to my typical one brew every two weeks schedule. That said, I'm really glad that football season is winding down. It's so hard to get help during the season...

North Georgia Brewers? (Duluth, Buford, Cumming, Suwanne, etc.)

I'm in Atlanta but have family up in Gainesville. Is there a distribution list I can be added to and I'll try to make it up there when I can?

How many pounds of spent grain do you produce every year? How do you dispose of it?

I bag it, freeze it and my girlfriend has worked it into her horse's diet.

A new way to clean carboys?

Does anyone know if these will fit in typical carboys? It says 2.5"long without a width posted. Most carboys being around an inch wide at the top, it sounds like it is cutting it close.

Belgian Tripel Belgian Trippel (2006 World Beer Cup Gold Medal: Dragonmead Final Absolution clone)

Brewed this weekend. Used a starter for the first time and it was the most violent and fast fermentation I've ever experienced. Can't wait to try it

    Show us your Kegerator

Just finished mine. I did a collar of 2x6's around the top and then oak .75x11 on the outside of 3 sides for the chalkboard finish. It's not the prettiest thing in the world but it serves beer and I love it for that.

Got my kegs, A little overwhelmed beyond that

For those interested, I got the 4 tap system at KegConnection. It was amazing. Already put together and worked perfectly. Here's a picture!

Got my kegs, A little overwhelmed beyond that

Yep. I bought everything at keg connection. Got their 4 tap fridge system with only 3 taps. Dual primary reg and 3 way distributor. That gives me the ability to serve 3 beers at 2 different pressures or 3 at the same pressure and the ability to force carb on the fourth.

Got my kegs, A little overwhelmed beyond that

Yep. Went through all 500 pages of the kegerator thread. Need to do some measurements and head to Home Depot.

Got my kegs, A little overwhelmed beyond that

Yeah, I was wondering why no one did this. I mean, when they fill growlers at a store, they don't use counterpressure or chill the bottles. I dropped $500 on a full set of connections and serving equipment last night that I'll just need to play with. Now to figure out what kind of keezer I...

    Atlanta Area Group Buy

Yeah, where do we stand on this? I'd definitely be in for a bag or two.
