Help reading my Ward Lab Water Chemistry Report

Brewing a NEIPA this weekend and am guessing my well water could never do that style (or any). I was really curious to see if it was even safe to drink as well, we always use bottled water around the home. A new RO system is on my wish (and a pump, and a new wort chiller and...long list) but...

Help reading my Ward Lab Water Chemistry Report

Been a longtime brewer but am still trying to wrap my head around this water chemistry. I had my well water tested by Ward Labs and just received the report. Looks like I will be buying RO water from the store still? IDK? Thoughts please and thank you.

    Water Profiling?

So started brewing the extract kits with bottling off and on for past 20 years. Last year made the hyper jump to BIAB. Built two 3 tap keezers and am really happy with all this. Now I am reading about the water profiling and am trying to wrap my head around it. How many of my fellow BIAB'ers...

    1st Batch Hard Cider

I make that sams cider variety all the time! Always have one or two kegs of it on tap, it makes very good cider and is cheap. I just blew my pumpkin keg and will be replacing it with another this weekend after adding cinnamon stix to the keg.

Is Red Star Montrachet no longer?

Did Red Star stop making Montrachet? If so are they replacing it with Premier Classique? I use the Montrachet for my ciders and all I see on Ebay is this... Red Star Premier Classique formerly Montrachet Yeast For Wine Making Even my LHBS is out of the Montrachet.

    CMB V3S faucet

I just installed 3 of the CMBecker V3S's I bought last week in a free fridge I scored for the garage. So far, very impressed. And I have the Perlick 630SS's in the keggerator in the house, just thought I would give em a try. P.S. I would say the stickers hide my first drill holes where I...

    Second BIAB....scratching head...why don't more do this?

Not sure of the exact model sous vide but I bought it from Best Buy a few months ago for about $150. I have used it with about half a dozen BIAB's so far and never had an issue with scorching. About the only issue I have had was getting the cooker to the wort level when I do a normal sized...

    Second BIAB....scratching head...why don't more do this?

Been into extract brewing off and on for over 20 years. Made the decision to all grain last December after upgrading my pot to a 20 gallon Spike, pure love there. I decided to go BIAB after learning about it and how easy (and cheaper than a 3 tier kettle system) it seemed, and is. I brew...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Anyway to extend the life of the hop flavor? Brewed up a my first attempt at this awesome style last Saturday. Huge fan since I stumbled on it at a local brewery that produces the M-43 variety. I have a 10 gallon batch fermenting away nicely but would like it to last as long as possible...

    Cheap compact wort pump

so this arrived today and used it in a 20 gallon mash recirc and also to transfer to my carboys. Worked like a charm... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G305PK0/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=13095-20&linkId=d63fa96e676f8c19196402a73a7631e1

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

If the 1272 fails for some reason could the Safale 05 be used as a backup?

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

So was planning on brewing up a NEIPA tomorrow and only have a few yeast strains to use, would any of the following even be an option...Wyeast American Ale II 1272 smack pack, Safale US 05 and or a Coopers Ale dry 15 g brewing yeast packet?
