MaltMuncher Grain Mill 3 Roller works great for me, I had the 2 mill it was fine for years but whatever i did to it. It wont hold a proper gap anymore. I think the 3 mill is probably worth the little extra cash for milling really fine for BIAB. My efficiency is around 82ish%. You could just run...
After i watched this, I havent cared much LOL
I also repitched ipas for months and months with no issues. I only really clean it out now, if im going to a different beer which is rare for me LOL
Honestly when I started brewing it was hard to get a good beer where I live. Now there's like 30 micro shops around all making great beer.
I'll never quit. But I do have much easier access to a good ipa or something if I run out.
I quit beering afew times,
Once when i kept burning LME and didnt really know. I moved on to bulk AG cause im cheap.
Bottling and everything about it made me hate it. Bought a used keg and legit never bottled ever again.
And I love IPA's but i kept getting off flavors. I finally figured out it...
I use voss/hornindal pitch at 42c set temp controller to 32c. 2 day ferment to cold crash that night, trans to keg and done. I legit wouldnt even brew without them.
I cant get a Kegmenter in canada I dont think. But I do have a custom keg 50L keg I brew with. Works well, probably will last forever. The fermzilla does have zero 02 dry hops tho and seeing the beer itself ferment is cool and watching the beer flow is convenient too. Mine doesnt leak, but I do...
Yea carb 4 to 6 days and probably drink very soon after that. Some would say you can't even properly make neipa/ipa bottling. I'm mostly in that boat now after comparing many zero 02 exposed glasses to bottle conditioned ones of the same batch. Its not really a if they will oxidize, your just...
In my experience it is true. I've done atleast the same dam ipa recipe 50 times with pressure transfers. Then I did it ONCE under pressure ferment and it was by far the best ipa I ever made period.
