I have been cooking some muscadine wine since 09/17. I racked it once about two weeks ago. At first I thought the wife's cats were pushing the airlock out, but realized that they weren't. My wine was probably with out an air lock for 4 or 5 days....is it a lost cause?
Ok...I was mistaken...got home and looked....I have a muntons connoisseurs bock beer kit. 40 pints...the guy at the brew shop said I needed a can of amber malt extract. So I got a 1.5 kg can of it. It has no directions. Just malt...again....just seems like too much
