I lost all of my old brewing records when I switched from Mac back to PC. I keep meticulous notes, so at least I have all of my current iteration batches saved. I'm up to 42 since I started again in late 2022. I definitely cracked 100 from 2005 to 2014, but that's lost to the ages now.
I’ve noticed something similar. It will show me a calibrated number and the large gravity reading, always 4 points between them as you’re seeing. So I just assume the middle.
Is your panel in the garage? If so, it’s ridiculously easy to install a dedicated breaker/outlet (assuming you have the empty slots).
I’m an electrician but low voltage/data. So basically, a civilian lol. It took me less than an hour to install a 30amp outlet for my AIO system.
This is the way going forward. I made one slight mistake by opening the spigot before connecting the gas to the fermenter. Pushed CO2 into the fermenter from the bottom, so there goes my cold crash. I won’t make that mistake again!

I pay for Brewer’s Friend. My only previous experience is with Beer Alchemy (I used a Mac in the past). I vastly prefer Brewer’s Friend over Beer Alchemy.
The only local homebrew event I know of is Brew for Autism on Staten Island. It just occurred earlier this month. I was busy that day so did not attend, but I believe it draws a decent crowd. It’s been going close to 10 years now.
