I just bottled 2 cases last night I used Nottingham for the yeast I trued what I had for my gravity reading and I think it will be a nice smooth drinking beet
I don't have a yeast yet I want to try and make some thing my father would like he is not into craft beer and I was thinking a simple pilsner style would be good and I know he doesn't like bitter Beer so if you have a suggestion on the bittering hops and yeast I appreciate the help ant is 1 lb...
I found a recipe on line and I am adding the hops because the recipe did not have any but it is this
10lb pilsner 2 row
2lb caramunich
1lb cara pils
.5lb white wheat
And I am adding
.5oz saaz 20 min
1oz saaz 10 min
.5oz saaz 5 min
This is for 6 gal 5.4% abv and 11 IBU
Ant thoughts on this...
I wanted to make a simple cherry wheat I made the American kick ass wheat before and was going to add 5 pounds of cherry puree to the secondary any thoughts on if its too much or not
