My First Few...
BITTERS: ten year old can, tried for the practice just in case it actually worked.... (bottled 2 months, low carb, taste like wine)
unremembered IPA: fresh, taste better, somehow has an apple cider flavor... probably the canal water did that.. (bottled one month, low-medium carb, apple taste, friends like it...bs...)
update:
my pales and india pales have gotten much better.. lost the citrus taste when i used filtered water..
up to 20 or so batches now under my belt.. not a pro by any stretch, but getting there!
with help from HBT, i will be a better brewer!
