i kegged my Bohemian Pilsner yesterday. It turned out really nice. It’s more bitter than I expected it to be but it’s crisp and clean. The stats:

Dates
12/17/17 Brew Date Put it in wine cooler at 52F Lowest fermentation temp observed 54F
12/23/17 Started diacetyl rest. The Krausen foam cap was reduced to 1/8” thickness. Set the cooler temp to 65F
12/25/17 Ended diacetyl rest
12/27/17 Transferred to glass carboy for lagering in fridge (lowest setting)
1/27/18 Kegged and force carbonated

Notes
Added 1/2tsp of calcium chloride to water

At start Let ferment at room temp until 1/8th of foam head formed to force start. Then put in cooler.

12/17/17 brew.
Boiled wort for 60 minutes with lid and 30 min without.

In my next batch i'd like to try to temper the bitterness a little and make it more 'lawnmower friendly'.. It came out pretty 'big' but that was not necessarily what i was going for.

60 min boil instead of 90? more hops later in the boil rather than earlier?

This was only the second ever beer i brewed, but next time i'll do partial mash. Not into allgrain just yet.
