Hi guys,
I love this beer. Monks always surprise me :).

After a long search I wrote down this recipe:

Ricetta per Chimay Doree Clone, litri finali 36,0 (in bollitura 41,0)
efficienza 85%, bollitura 70 min.
OG 1,043; IBU: 26,1; EBC: 11;
Malti:
5000 gr Belgian Pils, 1,036;
550 gr Wheat, Torrified, 1,036;
280 gr CaraPilsner, 1,035;
200 gr Candi Sugar, Clear, 1,036;
Luppoli e altro:
20 gr Hallertauer Hersbrucker, 5,3 %a.a., 20 min;
40 gr Saaz, 4,5 %a.a., 60 min;

5 gr Bitter Orange
5 gr Coriander

Lieviti:
Trappist Ale yeast

What do you think?

My doubts are about quantity of orange and coriander and Hops.
Lot of people say german hops are the best for this recipe.

Thank you

I brought the doree to style tasting at our brew club and thought it was fantastic. I'm looking for a clone recipe also.
So far, your recipe looks like the ones I found. Make sure you use brewing coriander. The seeds from the store taste like celery while brewing coriander has a beautiful aroma.
Have you made the clone? I'm going to use candi sugar instead of syurp.
