just want to say hello

im jon from the uk

am new to homebrewing currently fermenting my 3rd brew

i have a 30l pot with 2 elements a home made counterflow chiller
im using all grain boil in the bag method.
i have 2 19l cornys & co2 setup & taps
so i aim to fill one corny off each brew i make

looking forward to making many more beers & improving my beers each time

random but im brewing john thompsons xxxx strong bitter its been fermenting for 4 days and smells of cold beans and has whites stuff on the top...is this normal? reply asap!!!!!

Thanks I had help from a friend choosing my setup
I had been buying parts for months before I could actually brew anything it was getting frustrating!
Now im ready to go and enjoying it so far.
Its really satisfying drinking beer that I made myself!
