I have to ship a 6 pack plus a Grolsch bottle halfway across the country. I'm concerned about breakage. What techniques do people use to ensure the package will arrive unharmed?

Have a box one size bigger than you think. Put each bottle in a 1 gallon zip loc bag. Then wrap each with bubble wrap, carpet padding, rags, etc. Place in box with more of the previous on the bottom, sides, top, and between the bottles. Tape shut and tape box again. Right FRAGILE on box several times. Go to FED EX. Tell them they are antique bottles you sold on ebay. Ship.....

That packaging sounds good. My brother used to be a truck loader at Fed Ex.. apparently the guys handling the packages like to drop the ones labeled "fragile" so I may skip that part ;)
