I found a half ounce of some variety of mystery hop in the back of my freezer next to a half ounce of cascade. Both were sealed in aluminum foil pretty well (I didn't get my vacuum sealer yet). They are less than 3 months old and I am almost certain they are from Midwest. It can only be one of three Varieties; Cascade, Centennial, or Nugget.
Anyway, I just made a wheat IPA with Cascade, Sorachi Ace, and Zythos hops. I plan on dry hopping with a half ounce each of Zythos and Sorachi Ace hops for a week in the secondary. Anyone have experience using hops from a freezer? Or using Nugget with Citrusy hops?
