WOW I just had my first lower attenuated batch then normal

All of my batches over the last year have all been 1.010 or less regardless of the yeast i used. I brewed my dipa and decided to add .25 honey malt and use ringwood on it instead of 1056. both of these yeast have never gone higher then 1.010. this one finished at 1.018 after 3 weeks in the primary at 64 which is 3 points higher than what beersmith said it would be. i got to tell ya it's definitely got some sweetness to it. below is the recipe and yes i used a 2 step 1 qt starter on it which took off like a mad man.

Three points isn't much of a difference...I doubt it woudl highly impact flavor. DIPAs tend to be a little sweet, like most big beers.
