I brewed a semi clone of boulevard 80acre saturday. Came out at 1.048. I tried my first starter but didnt even get it started until almost 3 in the afternoon. Used wlp001. Pitched it around midnight. Yesterday i noticed little to no airlock activity so i took a sample. 1.008! I couldn't believe it. Only four days!

Yes. I'd be surprised if a properly made beer, with an OG of 1.048, actually took four days to reach Fg. More like 24-36 hours, I'd say.

I was shocked. And yooper u could be right, i hadnt looked at the fermenters since monday. This is the lowest gravity beer i've made and i'm used to at least a week or two fermentation. The sample tasted awesome. 4 diff NZ hops and cascade. Cant wait to bottle it.
