Downloaded, opened, overwhelmed! Not a bad thing tis just excitintg that I can now take any recipie I find and scale it to my one gallon system!
I do have a few questions...
I tried to set up my profile with one gallon batches but I don't think I am doing it right. I chose a 2 gallon pot which is what I use but I think I am setting volumes wrong. I usually start off with 1.5 gallons before my boil but I need someone help getting this inputted the right way...I think I'm doing something wrong!
My other questions is substitutions. Since I do Small batch brewing. It is more economical for me to buy dry DME than LME. If I substitute the substance in Beersmith it doesn't change the amount. Is this normal? Is DME and LME volume an equal substitution?
