hi all,
i'm brewing the Dockside Stout from the malt kit and right from the start the things look a bit strange to me. after mixing everything as usual in the fermenter, the fermentation has started unusually fast. the very next morning i noticed the airlock bubbling at a super fast pace, the top of the brew was foamy but it didn't overflow on me. then, the next morning (36 hours from the yeast pitch) all bubbling has stopped and the foam also seems to be gone.
never had anything like that happen before so i'm getting a bit concern.

I've had that happen before. Give it another week. the fermentation is probably just trickling along nice and slow right now.
