Well, I've been on the hunt for a third used keg, but they have been out of stock for the past month. Soooooo, I bought a nice shiny new keg. Question: do I need to do anything to it to prepare it for beer? Like adjust the dip tube or anything?

A couple of basics first-

1- CLEAN w/ B-Brite it equivalent in hot water. I soak for about an hour. It'll remove a y oils etc
2- Rinse well w/ clean water
3- Sanitize w/ StarSan

If you keg condition then shorten your dip tube a out 1/2" and put in a dip tube filter
