I brewed an orange cream ale and I left it sit on the oranges and vanilla bean for 6 weeks, is this too long? Second when I picked up the carboy all the fruit started to drop. Should I give it a couple of days to clear again? By the way tastes really good!!!!

If it tastes good then it's not too long. Vanilla, and other flavours, can overpower but if you're not infected, tasting, good, and are happy with it - you're golden. Enjoy!
